Okay, maybe I overdid that tag line a little bit but I assume in Sam's eyes this was very hard to go through.
So, this school year, maybe back in March after school, there was this little kid about a grade below me named Sam. Sam loved pokemon and he'd always bring his 3DS XL to school every single day. His favorite pokemon was Mudkip (So we got along pretty easily). Well, he had recently gotten a copy of the game Pokemon Omega Ruby, and I was standing in the front area, waiting for my bus, and watching Sam play the first opening moments of Hoenn. But then... (Now like I said, I was a mudkip fan like him so I was a bit envious.) When he chose Mudkip as his starter and the wild pokemon battle began, get this, his Mudkip was a shiny!
I remember the look on Sam's face when he saw this (and I think he saw mine too.) He was super ecstatic about his shiny mudkip, he started showing kids around the front area. But one kid decided it would be the funniest thing to pop the game out of his 3ds, and he did. I swear that little click sound it makes after it pops out of the slot was the loudest thing on planet Earth.
Sam was devastated.
And a little angry.
I felt bad about myself too, since I didn't do anything to help him. But I recently got the idea to breed my Swampert, nicknamed swampy, to get another legit shiny mudkip to give to Sam. I guess now is a better time than ever because it's a 16 hour drive from here to Florida, where I'm going for vacation, to breed my swampert.
Welp, I hope you guys enjoyed my story, and I hope you wish me luck. After all, I only have a 1 in 8062-ish chance of getting one.
