I live in a small town, you basically have to make friends with everyone. So that's what I did. And it turns out, my neighbor has a Switch and last night (at time of writing) he let me play some MK8D with him. When I first held the Joy Cons in my hands I thought they were tiny! I joked about this to my friend "I guess those people in the trailer had *insert person with small hands* hands," It was also kind of uncomfortable with out the Grip. Eventually, my sister wanted to join, so I had to let her use the Grip; She has never played a game without . And my friend and we turned our controllers on the side. With the already small controllers seemingly reduced; I had some issues almost straight away. We loaded the course Big Blue, I come to a sharp turn. Instinctively, I hit what I thought was SR, but it was the power button to the Joy Con. I was laughed at for some time, but we got over it. Then my sister saw that my friend has 1-2-Switch and she was 'dying' to play it. Little did she know that it was an overpriced launch title... But before we switched out the cartridges, I tasted one. It was exactly as they said it was; gross.
