My Year in 2016 was an awesome year for me in games, as I tried out different types of genres and really liked them. So first we're going to go to December 2015 where I got a ps vita so I could play ps one classics and I bought 4 RPGs as I'm a really big RPG fan I got Harvest Moon Back to Nature (My first Harvest Moon), Final Fantasy X, Lunar Silver Star Harmony, and I got Chrono Trigger(Which I happen to get for a dollar) all of them I really liked Harvest Moon was a fun farming game with me trying to improve my farm and relationship(so addictive), Final Fantasy X was a great rpg with a good battle system and leveling tree, Lunar was a charming rpg with amazing pixel art and with a great cast of characters, and Chrono Trigger an all round great rpg awesome battle system great characters and a good story. I finally finished all these games in April where I then went on to experiment with some games, I tried out Dark Souls 3 I didn't go that far but I liked the hours I played, But then in May a huge game hit Overwatch and I do not like FPS games but I decided to try out the free open beta and it's easily one of my favorite video games it's unique cast of characters with lots of different move sets and it having set objectives makes it really fun I'm still learning at play some characters right, I then tried DOOM 2016 I didn't get that far but what I played was a really fun fps for the single player. Then I started getting a little bored as new games weren't coming out and I heard about a new phoenix wright game that came out and I was like you know what I haven't played and then without me knowing that much I played the first game in the series and it was really good as my first visual novel it had a really interesting story, and then I played the second one and that was even better with having one of my favorite cases 2-4 and, then I played the 3rd one and it was incredible with having amazing cases and awesome moments and my favorite case being 3-5
, and then went on to play Apollo Justice which was also good. I then got two games for Christmas, Phoenix Wright vs Professor Layton which was an awesome crossover and Pokemon Moon my favorite pokemon game for its great story and how much it changed the formula. Overall this was the year that was the best for gaming thanks to my rpg craze in spring followed up with overwatch in summer, and the phoenix wright games in fall, and my two Christmas games. But surprisingly enough there are no nintendo games except for Pokemon Moon that I got as that was a lackluster year for nintendo and because of that I tried out different types of games. I'm still excited for this year though as the two games I've play Zelda Breath of the Wild and Spector Knight were amazing and I'm hopeful for games to come like Arms, Splatoon 2, Super Smash Bros(Hopefully this comes out not confirmed), and Super Mario Oddysey
