Pokémon stories pt 2

Pokémon stories pt 2

It's been a while (more than a year!), but I wrote a new one! As the previous one, this one is a bit dark. For new readers: These stories can be read without knowing anything about pokémon. While they are inspired on pokémon the most important thing about them is that they are stories. After Magikarp, the second story is about Eeveelutions. Guess which ones? :p Have a good read! :bookworm:

Eeveelutions. It was quiet. Dead quiet. I walked alone, though my twin sister was right beside me. We didn't talk. We looked the same, so much was true, but we were like night and day. It was the strangest thing. We had the same friends and wore the same clothes. We went to the same places and laughed at the same jokes. But when we faced each other all we ever noticed were the differences. Small differences perhaps, but they were there. I wore dark blue lenses, she got pink ones. To make sure people could tell us apart. When the stars were out she tired. I felt powerful, I felt big. Her active moment was the middle of the day, with the sun blazing. It was when I quieted down. Now we just walked. We were in a dark forest. I don't know why were here, she didn't either. It didn't matter. She was scared. I wasn't. It was my time of the day. I smiled at her. We connected again. Now, we walked together.
We were those perfect sunny girls. Our reputation at school was 'cute'. They didn't know we had our own agenda. Our favourite hobby was one we were good at. I stopped, we had reached an overgrown meadow. She stopped too. Without hesitating she lashed out at me. I evaded her. Her ankle flew past my head. We both knew she had changed. I don't know when it happened, or why. She just did. She appeared more elegant, her eyes looked different. I noticed it in her fighting style too. She played mind games now, instead of trusting our opponents to underestimate us. Because we were cute. Suckers. I smiled at her again, my teeth bare. I hit her. Hard. She got back at me. “Every hit you take makes you stronger honey! And a stronger you means more money, honey.” She giggled. “Shut up already.” I grumbled. Then, unexpectedly, I laughed. I sounded dark. My time, my change. I evaded one more kick. Then, as if nothing happened, we walked on. Tomorrow was a big day.
