X Japan - Metal/Rock

I was curious if anyone on the boards here was familiar with the band X Japan? I discovered them long ago in my high school days and find them to be one of my favorites. They are a pretty diverse band covering genres including metal, rock, and classical. If you haven't heard of them, check this song out! Superbly talented musicians.

It says something that they haven't released an album for over two decades and are still hugely popular not just in Japan, but worldwide.

Yes they are! Yeah, two of their members ended up taking their own lives a while back. They are still touring but not with the original line up. They just came out with a documentary called 'We Are X'. I highly recommend it!
