Nintendo 3DS Legend

My friend borrowed my copy of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and I borrowed his copy of BIT TRIP SAGA.

Now, this game is based off a retro art style, and has rhythm based gameplay. It has all 6 games from the series :Bit trip runner, Bit trip Void, Bit trip Fate, Bit trip Flux, and Bit Trip beat. These games are crushingly difficult, especially the Bit Trip runner.
Take a look at some of the gameplay here:
(Played on a different platform but gameplay is same)
The game I play the most is Bit trip Runner, and it is crushingly difficult. At times, you will feel like breaking the top screen on your 3DS, but you won't have enough time because the instant you hit an obstacle, you get taken to the very beginning of the level you were on. You play as Commander Video in the game, collecting gold, mode increasing plus signs, jumping, kicking, sliding and blocking your way to the end of the level. It is a VERY difficult game, but once you complete it, you will see that your reaction time will have increased significantly. When I first started, I died so much on the first level. But when I got to the later levels, I was able to complete level one with ease. It is a really rage inducing but rewarding experience. The other games are also really fun to play, for example Bit Trip Fate. You are on a rope, and you can shoot beams to kill enemies and destroy obstacles in your way.
This game is 15.00 $ on the eShop, worth the price in my opinion. You will not regret picking up the game, trust me. The music gets really nice as you pick up those mode changing plus signs, and you will enjoy the experience. Bit Trip Complete is also available for the Wii and also available for PC on Steam.
What do you guys think? Is the game worht the 15$ price? Or is it too frustrating/difficult for you? Leave a reply down below as to what you guys think.
Thanks for reading :)

The game is most definitely worth $15! That said, I'd get the Wii version over the 3DS one. Still a great collection of games everyone should check out at least once.

i want it ! it looks amazing and i love how its so hard and challenging ! i really want it and i think its worth its price ... no i don't , wish it could be cheaper :p but i love the challenge :p

I have tried Runner 2 (demo) on the Xbox360. It was indeed difficult, but great! If I have the money, it's one of the games that I'll buy for sure for my 3DS (with many others :p) !

Runner 2 is indeed great! I was playing it on Wii U recently. :)

And even the demo has its number of awesome stages ! I wasn't able to leave my Xbox for a few hours!
That's why I'm looking forward to play BIT. TRIP. SAGA on 3DS.

yes, I know. I have the Wii version, it came with the Wii when i bought it. I like the 3DS version though, no differences, and you can play on the go.

trust me, you will feel like breaking the top screen on the 3DS, but when you finish a level, you WILL have an improved reacton time. That's what this game is about. precision and reaction time.

Actually, there's quite a few differences. They include, but aren't limited to ...

-The Wii version has over 100 special new challenges that the 3DS version doesn't
-The Wii version has online leaderboards the 3DS version lacks
-Lots of unlockable meida (art, videos, etc.) are available exclusively in the Wii version
-The Wii version has multiplayer support - the 3DS version does not
-An exclusive bonus soundtrack is available only in the Wii version
-Reportedly the Wii version has a much smoother framerate for Runner

I bought it for $5, so I can say it worth my money.
But I hate the lag when you use the 3D.

I only liked the Runner one though.

I got it while it was on sale a long time ago for $10 on the eShop.

I've only played Runner, which I really enjoyed. I think I got stuck on one of the last levels though.

The challenges are good, they test your skills that you built up over the course of the game. They look colorful, and they are EXTREMELY difficult, requiring perfect reaction time/timing. Worth the trouble, though

The only one I remember I played was Bit Trip Runner and that was a Wii Demo. I really liked it but I wish there were sections from harder levels and not just the first ones.

The first world is one of the hardest. The second world is so easy, you feel like you have mastered the game.
