Amazon no longer offering 20% off on game pre-orders

I think it was @luigiFTW who first mentioned to me that gamers can get discounts when they pre-order select video games from Amazon. Seems like that's no longer going to be the case as Amazon announced that they'll no longer be doing such a thing. Instead, people who pre-order games will receive $10 Amazon promotional credit.

The news didn't really hit me hard because I don't pre-order games from Amazon, but at least we're still getting something for our pre-orders. I normally wouldn't expect anything >.>

What do you think about the news?

I remember when i got a discount on sun and moon from price check using amazon, i guess 20% off is gone but $10 is still quite a bit for a pre order.
