Hey, is anyone here streaming on Twitch with their Switch?

What has your experience been like?

I've not streamed on my own account, but I help run a speedrunning marathon which we stream to twitch. Cause of this we stream from multiple different consoles including the switch.

We have it set up running through a capture card into a computer and the output then split into a monitor for the gameplay, the switch being docked. It's been the easiest console we've dealt with so far to set up and handle honestly. Not really had any issues with it, the output is fine, things just work with it. Ofc, we have it setup overkill since we have to do more then you would streaming at home, but generally I don't see how much different it would be. You just need a good capture card and do some tweaks to get things set up, from there you should be good.

What capture card do you use? I've been looking for a good one for abit and my friends are all giving different suggestions.

We've used a couple, depends on the console being used, our main one though is an Avermedia LGX2, the other one we used last year was uh, I can't remember but something too damn expensive xD

Here's a support page on the set up with it (and other aver's) for the switch: https://www.avermedia.com/us/media/news-detail/8
