Broken Styluses

Has anyone here ever faced the tragedy of their 3DS stylus breaking? I did, back in 2011. Part of the head broke off. I put it back together with tape It doesn't give me a problem and works just fine and actually fits into the console better because of the slightly extra thickness of the tape so it doesn't get loose in its case.

But I'm thinking of buying a new stylus, just because it'll look better that way. I've just not been able to find one in passing Danged under-equipped phone-obsessed tech shops

What about you guys?

i had that happen. i went to walmart and got 5 more now if any others break i have a few spares

I've had the problem of losing my styluses but breaking is another story,

I never lose my styluses, they always break instead. I tend to bend my styluses (force of habit ) and they always break, the longest I've ever had a stylus for was, I believe 10 months.

My stylus broke because I kept fidgeting with it, lengthening it and then returning it to its original size, repeatedly. Serves me right

Breaking styluses is a problem? I don't break mine but I know people who stick them in their mouth and ears and nose lmao

I lose mine a lot but always find it, I've probably only legit lost one stylus since I've had my original DS in 2004.

Breaking stylus i never did it i only lose mine but give up to look for it instead i purchased a pack full of stylus in any color now i have alot of stylus and i just buy it for only 5$ this was awesome.

I chew on my stylus's and they usually break if I bend them a little after a long time of chewing on it.

Guess I should get out of the habit >.>

yes try to chew a gum instead of the stylus when playing game this should help you remove this habbit

I've lost my 3DS stylus and I'm really sorry I did. It becomes really annoying when I need to use the stylus since I have to always look in the general vicinity for a substitute stylus that won't damage my touch screen. The 3DS stylus is pretty strong though and I like the folding mechanism, although I think after some wear and tear the stylus might not hold its retracted position for too long.

I had lost styluses, but never really broke them. But I belong to that kind of people who chew their styluses when they don't use it immediately. It's not as chewy as it looks like, but I still do it (I can't help).

I've only ever broken the end of the stylus facing away from the screen. The part that keeps it in the system always collapses on itself. But I've never broken the tip.
