A lot of 3DS owners are going to have full friend lists after the release of Pokemon X/Y. It'll be worst for people who played Animal Crossing: New Leaf, but then again, some Pkm players I know delete the AC:NL players, :panda:

So, do you think Nintendo might ever increase the 100 friends limit on the Nintendo 3DS?

I have doubts that they'll ever do it on the Nintendo 3DS. With that said though, if they see this as a problem, I think Nintendo may decide to increase the limit for the friends list when the next handheld is on the market.

Yeah, I hope they increase or completely get rid of the limit on their next system, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think they really mean us to add people we know, considering their post about how sharing FC publicly on miiverse with our 3DS was wrong. With that mentality I think they believe they gave us plenty of space.

I rarely deleted Friend codes unless I am certain they don't have me anymore or I am certain they sold their 3DS or something. That said I am not much of a competitive player and I don't want to add many people to my rooster, just a few ones I can spend a good time.

Well, I do not need more than 100 friends on my Nintendo 3DS because if I just delete the friend codes after I play with people (that aren't my real friends of course.)
