Does Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia have online multiplayer?

A question for the people who have purchased Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia since it comes out today. Does the game have online multiplayer on the 3DS?

It's a remake so I'm not expecting it but I'm curious so I want a confirmation.

no... but i dont think it needs it

also...the fire emblem fates multiplayer mode was very bad in my opinion, there is no point of having large maps if you cannot use more than 5 units and the enemy can flee everytime you are in a better position

oh, and the RNG skills, thats make the game about having luck and no strategy at all
