appearently the eshop is adding a new app called S.T.E.A.M.
To me im getting a little confused if theyre adding an original or a steam application like the PC version

Heya! Welcome here :). btw its not that :p, its a new game called "Code name STEAM" or just "STEAM"
 
They are adding a game called Codename: S.T.E.A.M for the Nintendo 3DS. It's a real-time action-strategy RPG game, where you take control of a character, and fight your way through multiple levels.
There is no way there would be a Steam app for the 3DS, mainly because the 3DS does not run Windows.
 
Lol the game is not having to do with anything of Steam the application on PC games . It's called Code Name : Steam and it is a game for the 3ds that has just recently released . It is a quite a nice game . At first when there was news of it being released soon , the first thing I thought was Steam but I knew the differences :p
