That's exactly what I have done to another DS Lite I used to have. Still, it's interesting to see from what is the DS made.
I even kept the battery and the processor (It's just a 100MHz processor... Reminds me of my old Win98), just for the collection.

Conclusion: Nintendo really thought well when they designed the DS and the DS Lite for the emplacements of the parts. And I guess that's the same for the 3DS.

True haha and if you value the parts to be made they are around 50$ so Nintendo is making big profit.

it looks cool. but how did you break it that badly? my 3ds has a few scratches but wow. and are you going to keep the parts? i would if i were you.

Yeah they are old parts and both nds and nds lite have vot broken by my sister and brothers :D , so I had to buy a new nds console again (NDSI XL) and now I've got 3DS.

Lol true, whatever they are going to do, they are your family. That's one of the many problems families have. My bro has thrown my new mobile phone and destroyed it, at least I got it free with a program.

As you can see from the picture only the L button is there, the R button has probably got vanished after my bros broke my NDS :D
