You know there was a leaking rumor, now confirmed and it will be release in June 6th!

I'm writing the article right now but here's the big pic:

It's called "Sea Green"...
But it looks more like "Mint Green"
 
Can't believe I am saying this but that, actually, looks like an awesome 2DS to get if I didn't already have my special nintendo 3DS. I don't know why people collect different consoles but my 3DS is all I need.

I agree.
Sadly I can't use a 3DS again due my 3DS XL, because the original one is too small!

Do you think they will ever end up introducing a Nintendo 2DSXL? Just thinking out loud now, if they did it would be pretty big. I don't know anyone who would ever carry that thing around, it'd be like the size of a small laptop or a tablet maybe.

This one looks good, though I'm satisfied by my 3DS XL.
I'm sure some people will enjoy it. Also, I have heard that more colours should be available in the future, but I'm not sure.

Ikr? I've had a 3DS XL since 2012 and I played my sisters normal 3DS and was shocked at how small it is.
 
I already have my trusty 3DS, so I don't really mind other versions of the 2DS. Still, that color is very nice. Perfect for anyone, if I say so myself!

Just held my regular 3DS for the first time in a month and was shocked with how small it is too... I can still play on it though but I prefer to play on my Wii U, I'll just wait for next ten for a new DS. Or maybe I'll switch to a Sony device :sneaky:

I'm kidding, of course! But really, is the original 3DS THAT small? I never had a 3DSXL or a 2DS for comparison, so can anyone actually tell me?

ohhh. that's a pretty color. Suits the 2DS well. I wouldn't buy it for me, but maybe a cousin/family member. xD

What an awesome looking color! If that color comes for 3DS, then I'll say 2DS is better in the color!

I don't like the flatness of the 2DS, but the new color makes that complaint stupid!

Nintendo is colour blinded , overall the colour has a touch to it. It's somehow very attractive. There should be a combination of lime green and black if there was a new console to be released.

It looks nice if you ask me , it's pretty sturdy as well. I've heard if you dropped it a few times it won't break too. Well that's what you can buy if you don't have a budget for the 3DS.

exactly thats the economic model ... and yes this one looks nice specially the combination of white/ green, but is just that i dont like the disign of the 2DS itself

I like it, it looks fresh, and different, the color scheming is polished well, and it fits the 2DS well! I actually would've bought the 2DS, the only problem is that it was missing clamp shell design, but no regrets (my XL is awesome)!

I'll say this much - it looks better than the original 2DS.

But anyone who has a 3DS should always stick with it. :)
