As for the "The N3DS is faster" argument the guy is always rubbing in the viewers' face, it's normal:
The CPU now has 4 cores instead of 2, but still running at the same speed (268MHz)
They doubled the amount of RAM (128 -> 256MB)
They also added more VRAM (6MB -> 6MB + 4MB).
Yup, that's why it runs faster, and that's why they ported Xenoblade on it. Mostly for demonstration purposes.
(While I'm jealous that the N3DS' hardware is more powerful, the C-Stick is still too small, and I'm not alright with the Volume slider and the Select/Start buttons' positions. That would have been better to keep the 3DS(XL)'s design for those.)
