New Pikmin special edition?

At the end of nintendo's e3 digital event we saw miyamato playing on the wii u, I noticed on his desk there was a 3ds xl with 3 pikmin on it. Could this be a new special edition? Tell me what you think.

And, you know, I bet that a lot of people who work at Nintendo have exclusive editions like the one you saw. Maybe it will be released as a regular special edition, either it's exclusive...
 
Is it almost the same as the normal version?
 
I think it is just stickers. Cause there are NOT any pikmin games on 3ds. (Or maybe that means they are going to be a pikmin game on 3ds:rolleyes:?)
 
Hmmm... It's a bit strange to make a Pikmin 3DS if there are no Pikmin games for the 3DS, it's like making a Wii U in Professor Layton style :p

That sounds amazing! I've never actually played a pikmin game before, but I have read about the games and they seem like they would be really good! Pikmin on a handheld would be very good and would make Nintendo quite a bit of money I'd say :)
 
Well if it has the power to run Luigi's Mansion it can surely run Pikmin. The question is, will it be a remake (perhaps with a longer postgame) or will it be called Pikmin 4? Either way this is great news.
 
That's a good eye you have there! I've been wanting a 3ds Pikmin game, since the system transfer process. (Little Pikmin transferring pictures, games etc.)

Pikmin on 3ds? Ijust wish that it will not be a game exclusively for the new 3ds. Im also excited to play pikmin on my 3ds. Hopefully they release it early next year. Another great title for 3ds to watch for.

I have to disagree. Luigi Mansion was a simple game if we compare both games, remember that there're more elements happening at the same time on real time needing a strong CPU, something lacking on the 3DS.

I haven't paid too much attention to myamoto's desk, but I think they could probably be just stickers. Another user said that there are no pikmin game for the 3ds yet, so we just have two things to wonder about, your sight is somehow bad (no offense and take it easy hahhaa) or they are planning to launch a pikmin game on the 3ds

Iv never played pokmon but I know it's been rated pretty well over the years. Check olimar is smash.
