Nintendo 3DS Upgrades

If Nintendo were to make an upgrade to the current Nintendo 3DS, what features or things would you do to help improve the system?

I would add a messaging feature to the system. How about you?

Yes, I would add the messaging system on the system, I'm still angry with the rape scene that Nintendo Swap Note was involved, it wasn't Nintendo's fault, why can't they understand, the 3DS has a Friend Code program, which I think is already pretty restrictive, the girl's parents' just did a bad job at viewing what their child was doing, Nintendo's not to blame, people who use Swapnote by it's rules are the ones who are feeling cheated right now. I think the messaging system on the 3DS would really connect with the people in your Friends List. I haven't interacted with half of my friends on the 3DS, which is really sad. I would also want to add a screenshot capture service, if the image gets uploaded unto Miiverse a copy can still be viewed in the Nintendo 3DS Camera saved photos, and probably better system performance, when the Miiverse came, it felt like my 3DS was much slower than before, so they can't go wrong with better system performance

I completely agree with Reece it isnt Nintendo to blame. And the friendlist just isn't the same with a messaging system to talk to your friends

I would definitely add a friend messaging service, like @Reece said. It would help a lot, even for just saying hey i'm online. Wanna play? For me, an upgrade would be download cartridge games to the 3DS( Save them in the system's storage device or the SD ccard. would help a lot, but then After downloading, lock the game. in case it gets deleted, contact Nintendo etc. And also support for TV connected gameplay.

This likely isn't going to happen this generation, but for the next handheld they make in general needs to have cross buy VC games with WiiU/Wii 3(?). After buying a PS4 I realized that Nintendo is really stupid when it comes to VC. I know they just want to make money, but something about having to paying $5 twice to have Mario Bros. on two Nintendo systems doesn't seem right.

yup.. it will be a great upgrade so you can connect with your friends with it.. it will be a cool upgrade if the nintendo allow it, but then again maybe some people will abuse this friend messaging system if the nintendo apply this kind of application..

I would also like GBA games on the 3DS, I asked tons of Miiverse users and they all agreed. It won't be a problem being on both consoles, I don't think it will damage the Wii U sales.

Totally agree! I've heard Nintendo is trying to bring GBA games to the 3DS but what's taking them so long if they already put them on Ambassador Titles before? I would DEFINITELY buy Pokemon Fire Red, and Emerald

i totally agree with you... actually it may help them to get a lot of buyers from gba game because it has many great games.. i think it will be a good profit for the nintendo company to add GBA game to 3ds consoles,,
and also i would like to have GBA games also in my 3dsxl

Yeah, at least they can upload the Ambassador games to the eShop, it wouldn't hurt at all. It would be a huge profit to Nintendo and a lot of 3DS users would enjoy it.

Yeah, exactly. many people are itching for GBA games on the 3DS and for me, Pokemon Fire Red, and Ememrald, and Fire Emblem the sacred stones would be an insta buy

Yes! I would buy a Pokemon game, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Fire Emblem without any thoughts, just buy it instantly, a lot of people feel the same way with these games.
