Nintendo is giving away Halloween Theme codes !

At least for European Users (I don't know for NA people).
Check your mailboxes, as Nintendo gave away codes for an Halloween Theme.
The theme will only cost you 27 blocks on your SD card, and it's totally free !

This is what the theme looks like:

So, check your mailbox, get your code, and download it if you want !
(PS: The code must be entered in the Theme Shop, and not in the eShop)

I have not got one in my email yet, and i am from NA(canada) so it may only be for EU people. that is cool though d4rkDragon, i hope that nintendo does this for all holidays and for NA :).

I hope too. Also, to anybody wondering, this seems to apply to all European Users who have a EU Club Nintendo account, no matter where they live.

After, I don't know about that. Some people reported it's random, just like the demo code giveaways. That would be stupid if that was the case.
 
I didn't get the code either but it seems like only UK club nintendo members and some German members have received them until now so hopefully my country is still on the list. But I'm not too sure. I might try to score a code on the web if I don't get an email soon... I really want that theme, it looks amazing (so colourful!) and after some research I discovered your 3ds will meow when you open it. How cute is that? :cat:

Well, seems like it also worked in France, since I got a code. As I said I think it covers everybody with an EU Club Nintendo account who has subscribed to the newsletter.
 
where do you have to check in your email account?I have to get these codes,they will look awesome on my 3ds,so glad that Nintendo is giving them away though,nintendo is getting better by the day.

you could try to get a code it never hurts to try ;) also if you do get one in your email later you could sell it for pc here

Well, I don't know myself, it was out of pure luck that Nintendo sent me a code, so I don't really know how the distribution works aside from the fact that you need to subscribe to the CN's newsletter.
Most of the codes CN of Europe have are given through their newsletter (exception: games you get from promotions).

They look neat. Gotta envy that purple and black combination. The cat seems a little creepy but I guess it's no big deal. I'm sure there'll be more for the Holidays and Valentine's Day, etc.

I just checked the theme shop and the have all of the ones from japan in NA and even the black cat one but we have to pay ::punch::rage:

I got one too, I'm from the Netherlands so then it's almost sure it's Europe who is getting it, after 30th October the theme will be downloadable for a small price

I've noticed another thing when you use the theme:
When you're on the HOME Menu, if you close your 3DS and open it back, you'll hear a cat say "meow!". So, seems like the themes can have some nice surprises. I have also heard that some themes even change the HOME Menu Music.

I hope this means that Nintendo is tackling the idea to eventually have themes sold via Club Nintendo

I didn't get the theme... :( Well maybe next time? (Still looking for a code around the web but it seems there are none. No Halloween theme for me then.)

I got the code! Yeeessh!! I like how it meows when you open your 3DS.:D
