Nookling Junction Section Rules (Read First)

The Nookling Junction is basically a forum where members can use their Play Coins. For more information, please read this. To learn how to transfer Play Coins to another member, see this.

Duplicate threads

If you create a thread about selling Silver Tools in 'Animal Crossing: New Leaf' for example, don't create another one with the same content. Simply update the thread by editing the content and bumping it to get more viewers.

PS. Try not to overdo it with the thread bumping (bumping every 24 hours is fine). When creating a thread, you can double/triple post to reserve those spots to add content later.

Keep things to one thread :

We're also going to flag multiple threads of single items and the like under this rule as well. This can cause flooding of the NJ forum. Therefore, if you have a multiple shops opened up offering an individual service such as EV training, IV breeding, item selling, shiny breeding and level-up training, you should merge them all in one thread. We do make exceptions if you want two separate threads but bumping you will only be allowed to bump ONE every 24 hours..

Pokemon for Play Coins

If you have multiple Pokemon for sale, please create one thread instead of making several in the same day.

The following is not allowed:

• Trading hacked Pokemon for Play Coins (eg. perfect 5/6 IV non-Kalos legendary Pokemon).
• Cloning a Pokemon multiple times to sell (commonly perfect shiny Pokemon).

Iffy stuff that is allowed:

• A cloning service is allowed (read below for more details). Save managers are treated similarly to cloning. If you want someone to clone one of your Pokemon, you should ask for collateral (newbies can steal your Pokemon)
• (Updated: 17/2/14) Cloning a Pokemon multiple times to sell without the high price tag (clones must be 1-2 PC).

Hacking in general is NOT allowed.

Selling Accounts

You're not allowed to sell accounts at Ninten Pedia. For example, you are not allowed to sell your FaceBook account when you're tired of using it, or your Club Nintendo account (it's been discontinued anyway).

We may allow selling of subscription services and game sharing on the Nintendo Switch. Contact a staff member for approval.

Posting to discourage people when you're not even interested in an offer

If you're not interested in an offer, please try not to discourage someone from offering it. Example: James is offering a 5 IV Charizard for xx Play Coins. Jerry says, "Charizard sucks and you guys should not buy it".

Asking or negotiating for a cheaper price is allowed (but don't let it drag on if the seller isn't interested).

Play Coin Lotteries

Please contact @Marc before creating a Play Coin lottery.

Guess My Favorite XYZ and Similar Threads

If you're making a thread where the member has to pay a certain amount of Play Coins to guess an answer, you MUST private message a staff member the answer in advance to eliminate cheating.

In addition, please mention the staff member in the "guess" thread so others will know.

Off-site activities

Follow2Win-like gigs, affiliate/referral links, certain off-site activities etc are not allowed.

Scammers

Anyone who joins this forum to scam someone will be permanently banned. Please send a report to Marc via private message if you have been scammed or you think someone is a scammer (proof needed).

About Selling SHINY Pokemon

Due to the ability to modify code to make Pokemon shiny in X/Y (also being unable to tell the difference), I'm tightening the rules a bit. Selling shiny Pokemon is NOT allowed here unless :

1. You hatched them under your game's OT & ID.

2. You can provide proof to the Reddit thread where you got the egg hatched.

3. It's a Kalos event such as the shiny Jirachi with moonblast.

Anyone found selling hacked shiny Pokemon will have their Play Coins disabled. If someone messages you in private to sell a hacked shiny Pokemon, please report them and (1) their Play Coins may be disabled (2) You'll get all of their Play Coins.

#2 depends on if they're aware of this rule and still choose to sell hacked shiny Pokemon.
The selling of perfect IV non-shiny/shiny Ditto clones are allowed for personal use ONLY.​

This is now in effect as of June 21st. All shiny trade threads that were already posted are allowed.
