Remember the Ouya that many people have heard about and then it went quiet? I just found out that the Nintendo Switch has a wireless controller that's similar to it.

It costs $25 and should give gamers 2-3 hours charge when they play their Switch games.

IMHO, I'm not a fan of the design. The only reason I'd consider picking up one of these controllers is because they're so cheap, but I'd rather pay more for the extra battery life if that was an option.

What do you think?
 
Not a fan of the design either, but I guess it could work for me. Since I always play with the console in table/handheld mode (the TV is always being used, so, no docked play for me), the controller would last roughly as much time as the system. Plus, as you mentioned, it provides a cheap alternative to the official controllers which always have been horribly priced since the Wii U era (at least in France).

That said, I understand the battery complaint if you have the chance to play with the system on the dock.
