Security update patches major vulnerability in Apple devices

If you have your iPhone or iPad nearby or you use a Mac, I strongly suggest you update it to the latest version of iOS / MacOS as soon as possible.

A new security update has been released and it patches a major vulnerability in WiFi chips. The vulnerability lets hackers execute malicious code to take over your device.

To take advantage of the flaw, known as Broadpwn, all an attacker has to do is get within range of your WiFi device, according to Nitay Artenstein, the security researcher at Exodus Intelligence who discovered the problem and reported it.
