I have seen the game in 3d via Nintendo Direct and overall it looks amazing, I have played Zelda 1 Zelda 2 Zelda ALTTP Zelda OOT

is it worth the purchase of this game?
 
yup it's a worth it.. it's a game of the year also and it's the best zelda i ever played with so i recommend it for you to buy it you wont regret it for sure...;)
 
I haven't played the game personally but from all the ratings and reviews around the web, this game is a must have and you should definitely get it.

yup.. yup.. yup... this is the game of the year.. it's a perfect 10 rating soo you should buy it im playing it right now for the forth time :D:D:D
it's the best zelda game i ever played in handheld games! truly a master piece... hopefully next year they make it another zelda.. but maybe not in hyrule maybe in another place or land:D:D

Well it's actually a really short game though, but it's so entertaining, and when I do dungeons, around 30-45 mins I take to complete it but it doesn't feel short, I feel like, after completing a dungeon, I've been playing for an hour plus minutes, it's really entertaining. Other than the short gameplay it's amazing, a lot of reviewers just judge it by the life-span of the game, but doing all the collections, and some side-quests, it's really good. I promise you won't be disappointed. Since you played some previous Zelda games, I think you would appreciate this game a lot. The music is magnificent, cut scenes are entertaining, bosses are really fun to battle. :)

Every 3DS owner should get A Link Between Worlds! You'd be hard pressed to find a better game for the system. It's a must own!
 
You should really get this game, I was also at your stage before buying it but I really loved the game. It was fun, challenging and exciting. But the only think that is bad about this game is the length. I finished this game in like 9 hours or so. You should read my review about the game in this forum.
BUT, BUT, if you think the main quest is short, once you finish it, you will unlock Hero Mode.
In that, the enemies deal 4X more damage, so in the beginning in the game, ANY enemy will cause you 2 hearts of damage. So you will have to be very careful not to get hit by the enemies. In that, the game almost forces you get get the other heart pieces. Trust me, it is the difference between life and death in the game.
 
I'd just like to add that if you are a completionist it should take you 20+ hours to beat it.

Of course Zelda games are so good you'll probably play them over and over again anyway.

Again, buy it! You'll have no regrets.
