Smash Switch: Smash 4 Port or Smash 5?

So I was wondering if more people were looking for a smash 4 port to the switch or a brand new Super smash bros game, so I came to make this thread.

Personally I want a smash 5 even though I missed out on smash 4 entirely, I'd like to jump in a brand new game with a story this time.

I look forward to Smash 5 as well. Ports don't really appeal to me, I want to see something new and something that takes the best out of the Switch. Also, I'm curious to see which characters they're going to add (and remove) in a newer game and how the gameplay will feel like. I'd be happy if it felt as energic as Melee but I'm good with anything (as long as it's not like Brawl). And, same as you, I'd like to see some story in the game.

I would really like to see a Smash 5 instead of a port. I already have Sm4sh on Wii U so there's no need for me to re-buy the game.

I think a Smash 5 would be a good idea to really boost the Switch library, but a port doesn't sound too bad either.
