Stylus improvement.

Between the ds and the 3ds stylus I'd say the 3ds one improved by nt phasing the white tip at the top which can be broken off. What do you think?

i like the ones that are like a big pen. they dont fit in a 3ds but they are nicer to use.
 
I like the 3ds xl stylus because of their symmetry and they fancy colors
 
I prefer the 3DS one too. It's pretty cool that it you can make it bigger/smaller. Much more stronger too.
 
The 3DS Stylus is really good, IMO> It has a retractable design which I really like, is sturdy and it does not break like the original DS stylus did sometimes.
 
I don't really use a stylus. But if really need to compare, the 3ds one is better than the ds one for sure!
 
The 3DS one is better, especially with the retractable design.

If I had to suggest an improvement for the 3DS stylus, I'd say the tip shouldn't be a separate section. You fidget a little too much and it breaks off :panda: It oughtta be seamless so it doesn't break as easily :cat:
 
It was great for the 3DS stylus to expand and retract which takes less space and looks nice. It was a small leap from the DS one. I've been thinking it's like using a tiny Wiimote on a smaller screen. Maybe the stylus can track motion and have a cord attached to the system so when you shake the stylus or something you get an extra input and the camera can be used with the stylus to play flight games (like say the flight stages in SMG2 and the Pilotwings/Wii Sports Resort free gliding)
 
Yep the original 3ds stylus is better.

3ds has the better stylus, with it being telescoping, but I would like it if the part at the end (not the tip, the other end) was more sturdy, so it wouldn't collapse on itself with use. :/

I like the new 3DS stylus since its retractable, but I wish it was located on the side rather than on the top. It's a bit cumbersome to reach to the back and pull it out when you're in the middle of a game. Otherwise, it is of a much better quality than the original DS's.

I like the retractable feature they added! Its very useful to me! The only problem is that my stylus won't stay in :/ I had lost my stylus for like a whole year and then found it again and now it won't sty in very well which really sucks :"( anyways besides losing it and it not staying in the best I like it! They shouldn't have changed the retractable feature for the 3ds xl in which they went back to normal styluses

Like everyone else has said, the 3DS stylus is indeed better. The DS styluses literally eroded into my DS touch screen lol. Plus they were made out of some weird plastic so they were not intended to last.

I used to use my big stylus pen for swapnote, but swapnote is pointless now. All because of some girl giving a stranger her address via swapnoote...

The place of the stylus in the 3ds isn't good at all but in the 3DS XL they have again made to the right so it is much easier to remove the stylus at once and I think that the telescopic is of no use it should be a long directly.. But comparing the 3DS stylus with the DS stylus the 3DS stylus is much better..
