Let's start this discussion off with what Splatoon 2 might have in store. Voice chat? More splatfests? Squid jumping still possible?
 
Voice chat and squid jumping still accesable has been confirmed. In the presentation he stated that in game events were come as soon as release though I'm wondering if they will cut off the original splatoon servers altogether when the sequel launches.
 
Well, now that you mention cutting off the original splatoon servers was not in my mind. Leaving that aside, I think they improved the game so much. I was amazed at the new movements and the new weapons they swhowed. To me, this is a must have for my library.
