Work-life balance is hard

Hello everyone. Just wanted to drop the news that a third-party company is making a circle pad attachment for the 3DS. While I am comfortable with my Circle Pad Pro, this new attachment mixes it up for those who don't find it comfortable. The new one has a second circle pad near the left shoulder button. This placement is actually nicknamed "The Claw" after a certain button mapping scheme for MHFU on the PSP. To be honest, I would never be able to play like that, but hey- that's just my opinion.

So, is anyone interested in getting it?

Nah, I don't have the circle pad pro either, and not planning on getting one, I'm content with one circle pad on the left side ;) but you never know maybe I'll end up buying one..? Do you really think its a necessary improvement for gaming? If its easier to play super smash bros 3D with it when it comes out I might consider spending/wasting? My money on it ;) we'll just have to wait and see!

Wait, so the extra Circle Pad's on the shoulder? Weird... I don't think I'd ever be able to play like that, tbh... Then again, I've never tried, so it could be the best thing to happen to gaming in the last few years. :) I've never even gotten the original circle pad pro, though, so I'm not sure if I'd ever get this one. :)

And I thought the N64 had a strange controller, I think I'd need to see them demonstrating how to use it before I would get a thing like that. If people like it and if it works for them then good. It's funny how controllers can work for people in weird ways like that.

Erm.. What?! Who was stupid enough to pud a Circle Pad on the shoulders? Your fingers do not have any freedom of movement while resting on the edges, let alone precision. I doubt that this will sell much at all, due to the awkward positioning and uselessness.
We will have to see what features you get with this attachment...

Yeah, I'm not a fan of it either, but a lot of people who played Monster Hunter Freedom Unite used this kind of setup, and became used to it. I think I'd rather see something like Nyko's Power Grip Pro, which offered another circle pad (positioned just like how the CPP), much more battery life, an external protection. Unfortunately, the project was canned a long time ago. Here's a picture of it in all of its prototype glory.
