If you want to purchase games on the eShop, you'll need a microSD card for your Nintendo Switch. According to Nintendo, microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards are supported by the system.

What brand, type and size microSD card(s) do you use for your console? Do you recommend it?

I got this one:

SanDisk Ultra 200GB Micro SD (SDSDQUAN-200G-G4A)

For a bit under $100, it was the best price/quality/size. So far, yes I'd recommend it, I didn't have any issue with it yet. To upgrade to $256GB it was around $200.

I got a 120GB Micro SD from a good friend for approximately 20dollars since he got a 200GB and had no real need for it

SanDisk Ultra 128gb MicroSD XC I
I think I got it for like $50 Canadian.
had it in my tablet before I made the switch to Switch.

I have the 4GB I got with the New 3DS but switched it's capacity to 16GB, so I got it spare. I know it's nothing, but it's enough for now, since I can use the 32GB (around 25 with the OS) and wait until next year (or maybe even this Black Friday, we'll see). I will probably buy a 64GB card with UHS-1.

I bought one that was 32 gb off amazon. It seems to work fine and cost like $10. If anyone's interested, i'll grab a link to it haha.
