So, what region is your 3DS? perhaps you're of the majority being NA or perhaps even EU like me! ;)

I added JPN because apparently @ASuri has a JPN 3DS. .-.

remember to vote in the poll as well as posting here! It's interesting to find out what region other members' 3DS' are! :D

I have a NA 3DS! It's good because usually whenever I see auctions and stuff like that they are almost always North American! Also, more people have North American 3DS's then Europeon or Japanese 3DS (which isn't a bad thing, I'm just saying more people have NA 3DS)

Europe.....Nintendo! Why have you forsaken us! We European users would like an awesome club Nintendo too instead of a crappy website that never gives away anything! You make us sad! :( I wonder if I could use a fake adress and sign up to the American Club nintendo and then sell the game codes here? Gotta try! (I'll be googling!)

Of course we have Japan Club Nintendo. Nintendo comes from that country, how wouldn't they have such service? Hihihi

Mine is Asian region. It is kinda NA, yet you cannot register your 3DS, and the eShop games are lame, not as complete as NA eShop. So I faked an address and stuff to get a Club Nintendo account etc.

Mine is a North American one :p

That reminds me, I have a 2012 Wii U Pro Controller code for the Japan Club Nintendo :/

@Mikaya
You should add the New Zealand / Australia region, after all, they are getting the N3DS soon.
Why I recommend? They are PAL consoles, with that said, they will work on the European region.

What this means? You can import an Australian N3DS XL from Play Asia (around 205 euros I think) and use it like a normal 3DS. I'm not sure about the eShop, still I recommend to wait before doing that :p

I'm in the same case as you, or should I say, most of the Europeans are. Club Nintendo of Europe is really bad, and the only worthy thing they used to give was the Zelda Collector's Edition Disk for the GC for a short period. Add to this the fact that Nintendo somehow hate the Europe.

But well, as long as they release titles like SSB and all, I guess we can still forgive them a bit. Aside from these times where they tease us for games that will never get released here.

Mine is 'murican :) Although, I kinda want a Japanese one to try out the Japanese version of SSB3DS.

I never knew but seeing that it works when I put NA codes in the e-shop which I get from 3ds pedia and it works it has to be North American.

Aren't EU console the same as AU consoles and vice versa?
Because, I always thought europe and australia got actually the same systems and so you can buy a game in europe and play them on you australian bought 3ds

I think you're right but I'm not entirely sure.

My 3DS is NA-region, which is slightly inconvenient because if I manage to find 3DS games here at all they are mostly EU-region, since most of the 3DSes sold in my country are EU. :panda: But it's so rare to find 3DS games here anyway that it isn't really all that big a problem.

Mine is European.

North America here.

I don't think purchasing a Japanese region 3DS makes any sense if you live close to the United States because Nintendo is just going to reject your credit/debit card for eShop purchases, Japanese region eShop cards are nowhere to be found online (I can be wrong tho, but I couldn't find any) and importing games from Japan is expensive.

Still, it'd be cool to own a Japan region 3DS because of their exclusive eShop games,

@Marc PlayAsia.com has Japanese eShop cards to use.

North America.
I feel bad for Europe users not getting plenty of good games because of a few select countries whining about localization.
We still get the short stick too because our physical rewards are nowhere as cool as yours and sometimes our deals are far worse.
Japan always gets the good stuff, it makes me jealous

I have a North American 3DS! ^~^
It's an original sized one in pearl pink. I love it. I know a lot of people hate the original 3Ds but I've never had any issues with it.
