Nintendo recently revealed the information that there will be a new Nintendo Direct today – August 7th, 2013. The presentation was said to show off some of the previously announced titles for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Today, I’m going to tell you everything that you need to know about what was said for the Nintendo 3DS department of the presentation.
Nintendo Direct Presentation (North America) – August 8, 2013 :
Sonic Lost World
After talking about the Wii U version of Sonic Lost World, Satoru Iwata talked about its 3DS version and how the game will be available on October 22nd, 2013.
He went on, saying that the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game can communicate with each other through a local wireless connection. Apparently, on the 3DS version of the game, players can create remote control vehicles and send them to the Wii U version of the game, which can be used to help Sonic in the Co Op mode of the game.

Mario and Luigi: Dream Team isn’t available in North America yet, however, the game is already available in Europe. I wouldn’t go too in detail about this game because its just four days away from its North America release, so you can check out the launch trailer below :

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Satoru Iwata also talked about the The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and how the game will have two Triforces. He pointed it out on the game’s official logo from the video. It appears that one of the Triforces will be located in Zelda’s world, and another (the one that looks like a shadow) from a different world.
Link must travel to both worlds during the gameplay. The other world is similar to Link’s world, however, there will be differences. According to Mr. Iwata, ‘A Link Between Worlds’ takes place after a long time period from ‘A Link To the Past’. During the presentation, only the game’s month release was revealed, which is November.
Super Smash Bros for 3DS
It’s the year of Luigi, and guess what? Luigi will also be available as a playable character in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS. Screenshots for the game has also been revealed.
Animal Crossing Series Community Launch
At the ending of today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Satoru talked about the launch of the Animal Crossing Series Community that is coming to Miiverse. Basically, it’s a place where Animal Crossing fans come together and make posts with a maximum of 100 characters.
