What is Macca? – Macca is money in Shin Megami Tensei IV. It can be used to purchase items from shops and negotiate with demons. At the start of the game, Macca is a little tough to obtain, however, the more Macca the player has, the better.

Scout Bonus App
After unlocking the Burroughs App in Shin Megami Tensei IV, use your points to purchase the Scout Bonus app. Every time you use ‘Scout’ and recruit a demon, the demon will give you free Macca. Using ‘Scout’ on demons that are in your party (the demon can be alive or with 0 HP) might also give you Macca and automatically end the battle.
Selling Relics
Relics can be obtained in the game. They are normally found at locations where demons lurk in Shin Megami Tensei IV (eg. Naraku). After picking a relic up, it will reappear after a certain point in time, therefore, they can be recollected.
Early in the game, players can find a lot of relics and a demon’s domain with a relic reward in Tokyo. After several minutes or hours, check again to obtain these relics again and sell them at the Black Market (not at Mikado since they pay less).
Completing Quests
You can see how much Macca that you can get from completing a quest. Tackle the quests that give you the most Macca to become rich in Shin Megami Tensei IV. After completing the quest, be sure to turn it to collect the Macca.
