The Nook Cranny’s shipping box can easily be used to determine the value of bugs you catch in the game. Use this to figure out what bugs fetch high prices and collect as many as you can. Store them somewhere you can easily pick them back up and wait for Flick to visit your island.
Flick purchases bugs for 1.5x their value, therefore you’re going to make a larger profit than selling them to Timmy and Tommy. The waiting period to make the sale is the only inconvenience, but good things come when you wait for them.
Tip: Plant lots of flowers on your island to help increase the rate of bugs.
Similar to Flick, CJ makes random visits to your island with the intention of purchasing the fish you catch and he buys them at a x1.5 value. You can store as many as the expensive fish as you can catch and wait for CJ to pay a visit to your island so that you can sell them to him.
