Classic mode has returned in the upcoming Etrian Odyssey game, Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight. In classic mode, players can create their very own custom character (as well as use Grimoire Stones) unlike in story mode which limits you to a set party and storyline. In addition, you can travel through revamped dungeon layouts filled with dangerous FOEs and enemies you encounter at random times.
