Dragon Fantasy Book 1 and 2 New Details

We have new details about two of Muteki Corporation’s upcoming Nintendo 3DS eShop titles: Dragon Fantasy Book 1 and Dragon Fantasy Book 2. The developers announced that the 3DS release would be the definitive version of the game, which will be released before the versions for iOS, PC, PS3 and Vita.

The new features include dual-screen battling, a map interface for the towns and dungeon areas, 3D effect visuals and the ability of toggle random battles on or off (like Bravely Default).

The new details also include development details of the game, where they are working in the performance optimization. They said that the game is now working at 50fps like the Vita version, but they want a perfect 60fps for the release. They will also talk about Book 1 at PAX (it should be in August 31st and September 1st) and Book 2 will probably be released a little late than promised.

They also said that the 3DS versions play really well, where it feels like the game was made for the Nintendo handheld.

If you like Final Fantasy and games with humor, this is the game for you, considering Book 1 also has some Earthbound elements to its formula (both games have different battle systems). You can see the trailer of both games below:
