This week, Choice Provisions releases Dragon Fantasy: Book I (which was published for the PS3 and PS Vita in 2013) as Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria on the Nintendo eShop. The game will cost $9.99 and is a cross-buy for both Nintendo consoles.
New features for the Nintendo versions include the option to make monsters in the dungeons visible, thus disabling random battles; the ability to capture monsters to do your bidding; a Heal All option for your party’s magic use; a quest log, a bestiary, dual-screen support, stereoscopic 3D for the 3DS version.
Choice Provision also mentions a future remaster of Book II called Dragon Fantasy: The Black Tome of Ice for the 3DS and Wii U, although they haven’t shared any info on its release date yet.
