Dragon Quest fans have reason to celebrate the latest Nintendo Direct: both the VII and VIII remakes are coming to the west next year. The seventh game’s 3DS version came out in Japan in 2013 and Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King came to Japanese 3DS systems a few months ago.
Dragon Quest VII will be released with the subtitle Fragments of the Forgotten Past early next year. Dragon Quest VIII will follow in mid-2016.
