If you’re into Japanese anime-styled dungeon-crawling RPGs, then it’s time to get acquainted with Excave, a Japanese RPG that Teyon is publishing on the western Nintendo 3DS eShop. As is wont of such games, it gives you a very dungeon-crawly story just so you can get to the gameplay; in this case Imperial City’s king needs you to explore the labyrinth beneath the city to find out why a mysterious lab there is issuing a havoc-causing monster army. The game features fifty dungeons, five boss fights, character customization with treasure items alongside equipment, and an anime artstyle.
