A Rant

Okay, so I'm a 21 year old college student who recently moved back to my home town at the beginning of this year. I'm studying to take my entrance exam so I can get into my major's program at the University. After looking online at the local library I saw they had some books that were study guides for the exam I was going to take. Well I went to the library and though, 'hey instead of checking them out under my mom's library card, why don't I just go ahead and get my own?' So I went up to the counter, gave them my name, and guess what? -_- Apperently under my name is a 104$ fee back from 2005 for books I never even checked out. Apperently my 10 year old little self had her library card stolen and now has over 100 dollars in fees to pay before I can get my card renewed. This is just ridiculous to me that a ten year old can get charged that amount of money and now 11 years later I'm being told I have to pay it.

Forget that. I'll just chekc out books under my mom's name.

i hope the person gets punished in some way
Man that's terrible. I'd vote 1 star to reflect my opinion on the situation, but there are rules in 3DSpedia about not consistently giving good reviews.

Similarly related, Pops and I headed toward a video-game rental store we hadn't been to for a good ten years, (amazingly, there was still one.) and found out about some annoying Five-dollar late fee still dogging us.
You'd think that after ten years they'd just cut their losses on the five dollars, but no.
........wow I feel sorry for u
1/4 of me wants u to pay it

The other 3/4 wants to shove a stick up that guy's you-know-where and congrafulate you on deciding to use your mom's card.
