Okay, so I'm a 21 year old college student who recently moved back to my home town at the beginning of this year. I'm studying to take my entrance exam so I can get into my major's program at the University. After looking online at the local library I saw they had some books that were study guides for the exam I was going to take. Well I went to the library and though, 'hey instead of checking them out under my mom's library card, why don't I just go ahead and get my own?' So I went up to the counter, gave them my name, and guess what? -_- Apperently under my name is a 104$ fee back from 2005 for books I never even checked out. Apperently my 10 year old little self had her library card stolen and now has over 100 dollars in fees to pay before I can get my card renewed. This is just ridiculous to me that a ten year old can get charged that amount of money and now 11 years later I'm being told I have to pay it.
Forget that. I'll just chekc out books under my mom's name.
