Today is the day when my little house got bigger. It was not as big as the houses of other villagers who live in Wild World, however, I think it was fairly big, big enough to be able to live here comfortably. The roof was red too, just as I wanted. I was happy of my new home.
I rushed over to Nook’s cranny to thank Tom Nook properly. Then Tom Nook told me that the renovation cost is 120,000 bells. This was such a huge amount! I was shocked. Tom Nook laughed and said that I don’t need to pay it all at once. I could pay little by little everyday in the Town Hall. I was happy to hear it. Still, 120,000 bells is a very huge amount and it would take me a lot of time to pay it off.
Now that my house was fairly big, I decided to decorate it with some furniture. Tom Nook was selling a Green Lamp. I sold out my Cardboard box and candle and purchased the Green Lamp. The Green Lamp looked very good in my house, much better than my old candle. I even sold off my Tape deck and purchased the Cabin Wardrobe, which was also on sale. The cabin Wardrobe was very useful. It had a lot of empty space in it and I could store anything I wanted except bugs and fish. I stored my Work Uniform in that and put on my four ball shirt I was wearing.
Whitney moved into town today. She seems to be very gentle and friendly. She hopes we become good friends here in wild World. I hope so too. I want to have friendly relations with everyone in town. You never know, friends can help you anytime when in need. Plus, having friends around is always good.
Lately I have been sending a lot of mail to my neighbours. At Nook’s Cranny, you can buy a four pack of letters for just 160 bells. Then I write something good and then I deposit the mails in the Town Hall. I even sent a present to Cyrano and to Eloise, since they are my closest friends.
At the end of the day, I realised that I didn’t do any fishing or bug catching today. Still, I had a lot of fun in Wild World. I realised that fishing and bug catching isn’t the only way to have fun in Wild World. You have a lot of friends here and you can decorate your house. Perhaps there are many other things waiting for me round the corner.
