I LOVED Your Lie in April! It comes close on the scale of sadness to Clannad/Clannad Afterstory for me. I shed a few "manly" tears with Your Lie in April and while this is extremely embarrassing to admit, I bawled my eyes out watching Clannad Afterstory.
Also, the Piano competitions are very well done in your lie in april. It was tense and very butt-clenchy at every moment.
