bravely second demo: my worst boss fight ever!

ok, so this happened to me at least several weeks ago. i had downloaded the bravely second demo, and started my firts-time run on the game. after only a couple days i had gotten to the final boss. i was very excited! little had i known, my doom was just around the corner....read on to see why...

ok, so it started out like any typical square enix game boss fight; ups and downs. but later, it got worse: a lot worse. here's what ended up happening after a while: i was trapped in the battle. no escape; literally. all of my people were dead except 1, i had dark immunity, there were 2 shadowcasters with insufficient magic points (they couldnt attack me at all), and the ba'al seemed to only be able to use its 1 physical dark attack. now let me keep going here....

here's what kept happening:

he hits me: zero
i hit him: miss
(repeat of the above for a bit)
shadowcasters use dark: not enough MP (aka magic points)

and thats what kept happening (yes, i did forget to mention i was blind, so i could barely hit him). it was literally the same animations over and over again. thats literally what was on my screen....for like 12 hours. i even put the game down and set it to autobattle, since my options were extremely limited, and spent the whole night that day on here at SB. even by 7am or 8am, it was still going, and the ba'al wasnt even half down. i began to build fury inside; i was getting very angry here. and for obvious reasons.

i decided to give it another hour and kill more time at SB, but even when i did that, the battle wasnt over. i walked away from my computer, turned off my system, and i couldnt take it anymore: i just stood there, screaming violently with fury. once i had felt like i had my full release of rage, i grew quiet again, but was gasping for breath. i didnt care, though; i had my needed release, and that was the important thing. of course, anytime i get this angry and release like that, it makes me very, very tired. so much that i cant get angry again for several hours; if someone does something i dont like after i have such a release, i just kind of sigh and just say 'omg man', as i am much too emotionally exhausted to get too serious here.

so, thats what ended up happening on my first time run when i got to the final boss: i got too angry and just shut it off, as i could see it was getting nowhere. i was so desperate to avoid this on my second try that i ended up using google for tips on beating him. luckily i found a way to 1-turn him. turns out it actually works. it was still pretty aggravating that ended up happening, though; especially since it was my first run. frikkin sucked.

Anyone who can survive that much frustration deserves five stars. I woulda just thrown my DS at the wall and screeched for a few minutes before walking off to calm down and never turn my now possibly broken DS on again, in fear of the repetition of the past events. Lol, good job.

Yes it was not fun. I was so frustrated by all of it I used Google to find hints, as I said before. Hopefully that won't happen again...×_×
