Have you ever wondered why would nintendo make such an option?
I have because freaking cruel brawl is insane one hit kills you. You have to do multiple hits before u kill them. The only way to kill them in my opinion is to have them fall to their death but even then thats hard. What i had to do in BRAWL thats right the wii version i used Lucas and spammed his save like I ran into them with his save and boy did that send them flyingbut now there is no Lucas only Ness and when Ness' Pk thunder hits anything it stops so then you end up killing nothing except yourself. Idk how you beat any challenge involving Cruel Brawl in 3ds. and Wii u. but I dont think there is an easy way. Idk though thats only my opninion
