In SSB4, there are multiple ways to proceed:
1- Do the Kirbycide/Dededecide method (B, and shoot them out of the edge).
2- Use a character with a counter (Shulk, Lucina, Marth qualifies for this).
3- Pick a character who have a long grab range (Samus, ZSS, Link), and throw them out. It's better if you're on the border of the ledge, so the AI will "glitch" and hit the stage. (thus, a free KO is guaranteed)

That's all. But yes, that mode is insane. Lv7 CPU x Knockback x2 for you is horrible.

I saw somewhere where a guy played as dedede, sucked up one of the npcs, then jumped over the edge and shot them out as they were falling. Then, they used the dedede's jumping fly ability to get back to the edge of the map and repeated the process.
