Ruin quickly realized something was wrong when he heard something slicing through the air. Apparently, Nature Elementals can use their powers for offense as well as defense. Clover's Leaf Blade was like a real sword! Unless Emby and Aquaria return, he'd be sliced into ribbons. "Well? Aren't you going to attack me? I don't need to remind you of what happens if you lose", Clover said, twirling his blade. The other Nature Elementals were going wild in their seats. "Wow! That's our Clover"! "Show him who's boss"! "Kick his butt"! Ruin quickly ran at Clover. Clover held up his Leaf Blade and went to strike, when Ruin did a sliding kick, and knocked him off balance! Then he followed up with a high kick, and made Clover stumble forward. "Urgh, not bad, Null Elemental... But can you handle this"? Raising his sword, Clover summoned some grass blades to float around him. By his command, they straightened out, and zipped over towards Ruin, giving him cuts if he was too slow to dodge!
Meanwhile, Emby and Aquaria reached the gates, just as Fire Elemental arrived, carrying something wrapped in an expensive-looking cloth. "Young master Emby. I have brought the blade for the one called Ruin", he said, carefully handing it to him. Emby looked under the cloth and was shocked. This wasn't the same blade as before! Its edge was sparkling, and was tinted red. "I-is this really Ruin's sword??", Aquaria asked. "Indeed. By order of our Cheif, Ignite, the blacksmith used the last of our rarest metal: Infin-ite, to reforge the blade", the deliverer explained. "Infin-ite??? Man, dad was was serious about helping out Ruin..", Emby gasped. "He also told me to relay a message to Ruin: This is now no ordinary sword, for it can still be forged on your journey. You will know in time", the deliverer replied, and went on his way. Aquaria was puzzled. The blade was finished, but yet, it could still be forged? Emby looked up. "Geez, we gotta hurry! Ruin might need this!", he exclaimed, and hurried to the match. "Ah-! Wait for me!", Aquaria called, running behind him.
In the match, Ruin was doing all he could to dodge Clover's Grass Knives, but was getting tired. And everyone could see that, for he had been cut many times. "Well, you're determined, that's for sure. I applaud your efforts, but I must finish this", Clover said, as he walked over, holding up his Leaf Blade. Just then, Emby came barreling through the crowd! "Out of the way! Move it!", he yelled, reaching the last seat. "Ruin! Catch"! Ruin looked up, and saw Emby hurl his new sword straight at him. Eyes bugged out, Ruin and Clover jumped out the way as the sword struck into the floor! "Emby, you're supposed to be helping him, not trying to kill him!", Aquaria scolded. Ruin walked up to the blade, and pulled it out. Immediately, he felt something course through his arms. Something warm, like sitting in front of a fireplace on a cold winter's night. "Alright, King Clover, let's try this again", he challenged. Clover scoffed. "So all that waiting for that thing? I suppose it'd make a nice heirloom. But I digress...Have at you!", he replied, and charged Ruin. Ruin held up his blade, and clashed with Clover's! The young king felt some heat emanating off Ruin's sword, and quickly parried to jump back. "(That was strange...Swords don't usually feel that hot)", he thought. He used Grass Knives again, and sent them at Ruin. Ruin stood firm this time, and with one slash, a heat wave swept by the the grass, making them dry up!
Everyone was shocked at this performance, but no one was smiling as big Emby. "Yeah, Ruin! Show em' what that sword can do!", he cheered. Ruin held the sword with both hands, and closed his eyes. Suddenly, a small flame swirled its way up the blade, and suddenly flared out! Clover took a step back. That was a LOT of fire power. "He wouldn't....would he?", he asked himself. "Haaaaaaaaaaa! Take this! HEATNIX SLASH!", Ruin yelled, and slashed forward, sending a first whirlwind at Clover, and as it traveled, it shaped into a phoenix! Everyone screamed, and tried to move out of the way, but Clover put a massive tree shield, and blocked the attack! ...Just barely. The tree didn't survive for long, but luckily, the attack died down. Clover fell to his knees. If he hadn't have blocked in time... When he looked up, Ruin had his sword pointed at him. "I...concede", he said. Emby nodded. "Of course he does. Way to go, buddy"! Aquaria just had her hands over her mouth, eyes warbling. "You're really powerful, King Clover. Thank you for the fight", Ruin smiled, sheathing his weapon. Some Nature Elementals came down from the stands. "As promised, we are ready to go with you to your village" they said. Ruin was about to make a choice, when Clover stepped in front of them. "No... I will go". The Nature Elementals were flabbergasted! "My lord! You can't just up, and leave! What about your people!?", they protested. "Saige, give word to my father that I'm leaving. He may not understand, but I've made my decision. Besides...As I am now, I'm not strong enough to lead them" he explained. Saige lowered his head. As you wish, sire".
Clover turned to Ruin. "That won't be a problem, will it?", he asked. "Not at all. Glad to have you!", he smiled. Emby and Aquaria met up with them, and relayed the message. "I can keep forging this??", he wondered. Clover pondered for a bit. "Maybe...he means your sword can grow more powerful with experience? Or maybe something else". "Dad always has to hide something, even in a gift! So lame..", Emby shrugged. "At any rate, you now have the necessary Elementals for your village, yes? Shall we head back?", Aquaria suggested. Ruin nodded. "We have fire, water, and nature. This should be enough to restore things. Thank you everyone. I mean it". And so, the four made their way from the Nature Kingdom, to Null Village.
