Ruin, Emby, and Aquaria walked into the Nature Kingdom. To a Null Elemental and Fire Elemental, this was truly a sight to behold! Everyone was very happy, going on about their daily lives and such, and selling things on the market. "Oh, before we continue, Emby, come here for a second?", Aquaria asked. When he a stepped forward she put something on him, almost like she glazed his body with water! "Seeing as how this place relies on plant life, it'd be a shame if you accidently burned it down. This Aqua Sheen will keep any fire from accidentally emitting off you", she explained. "Hey, I can keep it under control without this thing!", Emby protested, getting angry. "Don't worry Emby, it's just for a little while. Until we get a Nature Elemental", Ruin assured him.
As they walked through town, people started turning their heads at the three travelers. "Hey, it's a Water Elemental!", one exclaimed, but then set his sights on Emby, and started to shake. "FIRE ELEMENTAL!!!!! Everyone run"!!! Needless to say, that caused a huge panic, and everyone started running into each other, and over each other trying to escape. "I literally...did nothing...", Emby frowned. Ruin chuckled sheepishly watching the scared Nature Elementals run for it. "Everyone, please calm down! I have him under control!", Aquaria called. One by one, they all stopped. "Oh, I know you! You're Aquaria, the Water Elemental Prodigy! What brings you to our Kingdom?", one of them asked. Aquaria laughed. "Well, I wouldn't say 'Prodigy'... We're seeking an able bodied Nature Elemental to help restore the plant life for the Null Elementals", she explained. All of them gasped, and began murmuring. " (For those Elemental defects?? Count me out.)". " (Same here. I heard rumors saying if you stay near one, they'll eat your energy until you become one of them)". " (Yeeeeah, don't think so)". Emby looked around. "I don't think they're gonna do it", he replied. Ruin scratched his head. "Well, this may take longer than I thought". "Don't worry, I know of someone who may be willing to lend a hand. To Nature Castle!", Aquaria said.
When they stepped across the bridge, Ruin looked at the gates. They were pretty big. "Should we be here?", he asked. "Of course! Just leave this to me", Aquaria replied, knocking on the gates. Two guards came from behind them. "Who are you? State your business", one replied. "Man, those guys must eat all their veggies!", Emby awed. "They're Nature Elementals, Emby. I think that's all they eat", Ruin laughed. "We would like an audience with King Trunk", Aquaria replied. The guards looked at each other. "Er..yeah, about that...", the second guard began to say. "I think we should just let them see for themselves", replied the first. The two stepped aside and let the trio in. Ruin marveled at the marble columns, shiny rock flooring, and the silk red curtains inside. "Hey Ruin, I can a see my reflection on the floor!", Emby exclaimed, waving at it. "I know, right?? So amazing!", he replied. "Step lively boys, the throne room is just a bit further", Aquaria called. Inside the throne room was some female Nature Elementals with different colored leaves on their hats, and wearing exotic dancing clothes, and were putting on a show for the king, who was looking quite bored. "Saige, this is getting real tiring. Is their anything else?", he asked, yawning. "It is not to your liking, Sire?", an elderly man asked. Just then, he noticed the trio stepping forward, giving a short bow/curtsey. "Hello again, King Trun-??", Aquaria started to say, when she noticed the king was a bit...younger than she remembered. "Aquaria, is that you???", he asked, jumping off his throne and walking briskly to her. "Clover! What a surprise!", she exclaimed, giving him a hug. " *Ahem*! When one visits His Majesty, one does not simply...Hug him", Saige interrupted. Both of them broke away. "My apologies, Clover, but, why are you sitting on your father's throne?", she asked. Clover looked elsewhere. "Father is no longer with us. He has returned to...well, nature. Ha ha... All joking aside, he grew tired of ruling and gave the authority to me. I can sort of see why, it's exhausting", he explained. "His Majesty has decided that young Clover was ready for the job, although I think the young sir wanted other things...", Saige added.
"Couldn't have been more correct... So, what brings you to our fair kingdom?", Clover asked. Aquaria stepped aside, and Ruin stepped forward. "This is Ruin, the Null Elemental. I am aiding him in his journey to save his people", she explained. "Hello, Clover, uh-! King Clover", he said. "Please, just call me by my name. Aquaria can tell you that. But what is it that you want from us?" clover wondered. "If there is any willing in your kingdom, could one of you please return to my village, and fix the nature there? I would be very greatful", Ruin asked him. Clover blinked. "Go to the Null Village??? That's a pretty big favor...Especially from what I've heard about you Elementals... But...I suppose I could be pursuaded, if you can beat me in a duel". Everyone gasped. "Your Majesty, isn't that a bit much!?", Saige squawked. "Hush. If one has desires and goals in life, one must be willing to fight for them. If you can best me, I'll go along with you. If not, you must not ever come back here. Well?", Clover said, extending his hand. "Dude, I dunno about this, what if you lose??? What then?", Emby asked, a bit concerned. "I don't know...But I have to try. Clover, you have a deal", Ruin answered, shaking his hand.
