Chapter 4 - Who can you trust?
Ugggghhhhh! This damned mansion is getting so freaking tedious to walk through! I just hope I can find my other friends and get outta here... "Hey...you okay, Daisuke?" Daichi said to me, wondering what had me so fatigued. "Y-yeah...I'm fine...just...tired...." it was then, suddenly, I heard a familiar video game theme come from a faraway room. Daichi and I walked all the way to the room where the music was originating. There were bright neon lights coming out of the bottom of the door, but then I saw the weirdest thing. There was a nameplate on the door, and when I looked at it it said:
..................Saonji's Room................
The hell? Since when was this here? I remember walking down this same hallway before meeting up with Daichi. Daichi and I walked into the room and were nearly blinded with the mixture of bright lights and video game posters. The video game theme was from that one video game turned into an anime were all these students had to kill each other to leave. I forget the name, but that's not important right now.
On the wall to the left, there was a panel with four little buttons with a sign above it that said " Menu ". The layout of the panel looked like it was from a classic RPG. The buttons were labeled "Status, Equip, and Magic". The last button on the panel was pitch black and covered with blood. It was labeled "Losers Quarrel". Out of curiosity, I pushed the button, and a hole opened up in the floor, and what I saw was absolutely horrific...
The hole was full of corpses.........
"What the..." Those were the only words I could mutter at that point. The hole had closed, and a shiny red button appeared where the hole was. The button had the word "START" written on it. I started to walk towards the button, ready to push it. "Are you really gonna push that thing!?" Daichi exclaimed. "What other choice do we have? This might be a clue to where Saonji- and probably everyone else is!" What other choice did we have? The only other options were either to sit around and wait to die, or just...get it all over with.... This was the only option I could come up with. "Dude, I don't trust this..." Daichi whined like some snot-nosed punk. Like this lame excuse for a man is one to talk about trust! Now, I had never been mad at Daichi about anything before, so I was about to really let loose on this idiot. "Well dude, I don't think I can trust YOU!" I yelled. "Dude, what the hell is this about?!" Daichi yelled back. "It's about YOU not going to rescue Shoko when you had the chance!" The moment I said that, there was a brief silence. Then, Daichi mustered the courage and said:
"You know what, if you don't trust me, than **** off, you doucebag!" After he yelled that, I could feel the atmosphere getting heavier and heavier by the second. Then, without a second to react, Daichi pushed me out of the way and pushed the button.
After he pushed the button, he just....stood there....like a zombie. And the second I closed and reopened my eyes, he had disappeared.......
Dammit! I was too hard on Daichi. If I can't trust him........who can I trust........

So apparently you saw some of the tension between Daisuke and Daichi, let's hope it's not like that between the other characters....
Also, I'd like to talk about the time between the chapters. You know, when I first started Makoto's Mansion, I was really excited and I had a crapload of different ideas I was thinking of, but recently, I've been hit with a type of writers block. You know, it being hard to control my schedule for chapters and my personal life, and it's just been kinda hard. And as a result of that, expect new chapters to be within 1 - 2 1/2 weeks. Sorry guys...
So with that said, I hope you've enjoyed this chapter!
