I found the 3DS Pedia while searching on the internet for eShop card giveaways. I was desperate to get Smash DLC. I came upon a video on how to obtain free eShop credit, and it explained that you had to make quality posts to get Play Coins, which could be redeemed for eShop credit. Since it was the only legit offer, I checked the site out an registered for an account.
The first thing I did was find information about eShop credit. I read the "how to earn Play Coins" and was determined to start earning. So I made a post and earned 3 Play Coins. Then I went to the Nookling Function and was intrigued by the Contests. I wanted to participate in Smash contests, but there weren't any ongoing ones so I went to the ShoutBox and looked for people willing to play Smash.
I met a guy named SuperMii3D. We played several rounds of Smash, and it seemed that we were on par with each other, so I requested a 1 PC match.
He won, and I gave him 1 PC. Then he won again, but declined my PC, gave me 11 PC, and we played some friendlies.
Since then, I've been looking for people to money match. My favorite thing about 3DS Pedia is meeting and competing with players on the forums. Other things I love are chilling in the Shoutbox, joining and hosting events, and working on gaining EXP and PC.
Speaking of hosting events, I created the Smash 3DS Pedia Bingo Book, and unofficial rankings list of players. The goal of it was to create a competitive atmosphere and be able to find people to play with. Right now, it's small with 5 people on the list, but my dream is for it to become official, like the 3DS Pedia Pokemon League. If you play Smash, check it out here.
I'll probably be on the 3DS Pedia for a while, since I don't see myself getting bored soon. Thank you to Marc and all the members for making 3DS Pedia possible, and thank you for reading.
