So it's been almost a year since I've used a smartphone. I have played a lot of free games on it that were fun. But then there's the one that just screams "If you want to be among the best, pay". One of these is called Call of Duty: Heroes. Now I'm a fan of the game. To this day, I have just about every one of them, except Black Ops. Now about the game, it's one of those "build your base up, level up to build more, complete missions, take over other people's base" games. To keep a long story short, my beef with it was that I was at a level where my base could not have a lot of high level protection and soldiers. Sadly, I didn't have enough Celium (the premium currency of the game. Might be spelled wrong) to upgrade the HQ, which is needed to further develop your base because I needed a lot and I hardly got any from removing debris. And the missions I had to complete had defenses that wiped out my squad before I could even destroy half the base so I can't progress. As with online, it's the same with Singleplayer; I start with people at your rank. Their base is like mine and slightly developed. Then a few ranks later and the next thing I know, I'm invading people who's base is further developed and much more capable of destroying my soldiers quickly. And the thing is, you have this perma-shield at the start of the game which protects you from other players invading your base. When you first invade someone, you lose this shield and the only way to get another is to buy another using Celium. So if you cannot afford one, expect your base and facilities to be destroyed when you open the game, thus requiring you to fix them and rebuild your base, so you should have your gold mines and oil pumps leveled up well because you actually lose these resources in takeovers. Since there was not much I can do the game, I deleted it and avoid it like the plague. This is a game for people who can afford to spend a lot money on games. You could try the game yourself and what I mean.
