New Smash Characters

Today after watching the new Smash 4 DLC special by Nintendo, I found myself disappointed in the 2 new fighters who were announced. After receiving news about cloud in smash, I saw a world of possibilities open before me, but the ballot delivered none of those. Corin was a hyped thing until everybody noticed we already have too much Fire Emblem in Smash. Bayonetta was what made me wonder who is behind the casting of smash. Why would Nintendo put a hooker witch into smash?
