So that's what happened yesterday...I was playing X trying to chain a shiny Magikarp when my game saved and the system updated XD.

Err you know this means you can't play online right? And that depending on your settings, it will auto-update? The homebrew community will find a way around these updates anyways, why deprive yourself of gameplay options that you yourself actually pay for?

I posted this all before all the details happened. It's safe to update for homebrew atm. Will update post. Also if a kernel exploit is released for 10.0 or something you can use emuNAND to use the eshop and play online at the same time as you having a lower firmware.
