I can't believe it. Nintendo actually stole my money.
So here's what happened:
I got my Wii U about a week ago and I wanted to purchase some wii games on the wii shop channel, and I figured out that wii points cards were canceled, so I decided to get a VISA gift card. So, my mom and I went to a nearby Jewel Osco to pick one up. The cashier had said it was activated, so I thought it would work out just fine. Once we got home, I had opened the card, went to the wii shop channel, and filled everything out. Then it finally asked if I wanted to take $20 off the card in exchange for 2,000 wii points. So, I clicked yes. Then, it said it didn't work. I tried this about three more times and it did the same thing. I thought that it just wasn't taking it on the wii shop channel, so I tried purchasing something else on the internet, and it said that there wasn't enough money on the card to purchase my items. What I had purchased was under $25 (because the card had $25 on it.) So my mom called the credit card company and they said that there was only $3.75 on the card. So, the shop took my money, but didn't give my wii points.
Why did you do this, Nintendo. WHY?!
